How to detox from sugar, wine, and carbs, without depriving yourself, and unlock your radiant energy!

I don't know about you but I need a detox from wine and sugar!

Let me explain...

My husband has been home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, due to COVID.

He works in the restaurant industry and before this pandemic, he worked 5 nights a week.

Now that he's home, every night is a night off and when he's off, he cooks, and when he cooks, we drink chardonnay.

Oh but that's not all that has me eager to detox, cleanse, and nourish my body.

We've been house-sitting and I found a box of the most amazing salted milk chocolate caramel squares ever!

I ate them all!

Have you ever experienced something like this?

Sheltering in place and dealing with this incredibly stressful time can make reaching for something that soothes even more appealing.  It can feel like the one thing left for you to enjoy is your cookie and your cocktail.

But the truth is, your body, and mine isn't meant to drink alcohol, eat sugar, or have as many carbs as we consume.

Your body is meant to eat from the earth and one of the best things you can do for yourself while waiting for life to open back up is to use this time to create healthy habits.

Here are 3 keys to successfully detox from wine, sugar, and carbs, without depriving yourself, and unlock your radiant energy.

  • Be Prepared
  • Commit to Your Why
  • Have a Wellness Community

Be Prepared and have a plan.  Alexander Graham Bell said it best, "Preparation is the key to success."

In order to shift from what you usually eat, let's just say...

coffee and a scone for breakfast, a bag of chips for a snack, a sandwich for lunch, maybe a cookie in the afternoon,  pizza for dinner, and ice cream for dessert...(am I close?)

you're gonna need to know what you're having instead.

And you need to have your groceries purchased and ready to use before Day 1 of the cleanse.

In our online Vibrant Body Cleanse, we've got a plan for you including a getting started guide, a done-for-you grocery list, and a motivational prep video to help you get set and ready to go!

Commit to Your Why because your commitment is the glue that binds you to your goals.  Why do you want to detox, cleanse and nourish your body?

What do you want for your health and vitality?

"Commitment is doing the thing you said you wanted to do long after the mood you said it in has left you."

Having a wellness community is a game-changer when it comes to detoxing successfully.  That's because we're dealing with habit change.   When cravings strike and they will, left on your own it becomes nearly impossible to stick with the cleanse.

But when you're plugged into a community of like-minded people who want what you want. People who are on the same journey with you, you've got immediate support by reaching out.

I want to address the "without being deprived" part of this topic.

The Vibrant Body Cleanse is not some gimmicky fire water fast, or juice fast, or eat hard-boiled eggs and tomatoes for 10 days kind of fast.

The Vibrant Body Cleanse is the beginning of a healthy way of life.  You eat healthy delicious whole food that tastes great and leaves you nourished, not deprived.

Wiggle room in the midst of a 10-day cleanse is necessary and we've baked this right into our program.

Dark Chocolate is one of the treats that are actually good for you.

I've recently discovered the absolutely wonderful treat of dipping my 70% Cocao chocolate in my herbal tea and consuming it slowly!  Soooo good.

One of the things we prepare in advance is our Cranberry Detox Cocktail.

So now...Are you ready for a cleanse? We welcome you in.
